This certificate enables an eligible industrial unit covered under PSI 2013 to obtain stamp-duty exemption on eligible transactions, subject to the location, nature of investment, effective steps taken, and other conditions of the scheme. The applicant should register or log in to the MAITRI portal, select the Stamp Duty Exemption Certificate service, enter project and land details, upload supporting documents, submit the application, and respond to any query raised by the scrutinising authority. Important documents generally include project profile, MIDC allotment or land documents, industrial-zone confirmation or NA permission, 7/12 extract where applicable, bank loan sanction, authorisation or board resolution, and self-certification on ₹100 stamp paper.
