Issuance of a Sick Industry Certificate to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises
Detailed about the Scheme and Procedure for Application
The certificate is intended to establish that an eligible MSME is experiencing industrial or financial sickness in accordance with the applicable State criteria. The application is generally made to the concerned DIC with Udyam or earlier MSME registration, constitution documents, audited financial statements, production and sales data, loan accounts, details of defaults or accumulated losses, reasons for sickness, revival or rehabilitation proposal, employment details, statutory-compliance status, and the prescribed bank certificate. The Directorate repository specifically provides the bank certificate format for sick-unit declaration.

Concerned General Manager, District Industries Centre, or other officer designated under the prevailing RTS notification.
Time Required for Decision
The currently applicable notified time limit should be displayed against the service on the MAITRI/Aaple Sarkar portal. It should be confirmed before publication because the earlier 2015 notification and the later ten-service list are not identical.
