Purpose:

Supports MSMEs in protecting and commercializing intellectual property through IPR awareness, advisory services, patentability searches, filing support and reimbursement.

Key documents:

Udyam certificate, PAN/GST details, IPR registration or grant certificate, filing receipts, professional-fee invoices, payment proofs, bank details and prescribed declarations.

Applicable Fee

No separate Government reimbursement-application fee is specified. The MSME first pays the statutory filing, registration and professional charges.

Mode of Fee Payment

Pay the IP Office and authorised patent/trademark agent through traceable banking channels. Retain invoices and payment receipts for reimbursement.

Important Eligibility Conditions Applicant must be an eligible MSME with valid Udyam Registration.

Reimbursement is ordinarily claimed after the eligible IPR is registered or granted. Expenses must be supported by valid invoices, official receipts and payment evidence.
