    Maharashtra State Industrial Cluster Development Programme (MSI-CDP)

    Purpose:

    A State cluster-development programme for groups of micro and small enterprises in Maharashtra to undertake common capacity-building activities and establish shared facilities through a Special Purpose Vehicle.

    Objective:

    To raise productivity, technology, quality, environmental performance and market competitiveness of cluster enterprises by addressing common constraints and creating Common Facility Centres or other approved shared infrastructure.

    Beneficiary:

    A cluster of eligible micro/small enterprises meeting the prescribed minimum membership and location/category conditions, organised through an eligible SPV with land, beneficiary contribution, governance arrangements and a viable DPR.

    Benefits:

    State assistance for approved soft interventions, diagnostic studies, Detailed Project Reports and/or Common Facility Centre projects, subject to the prescribed funding pattern, grant ceiling, beneficiary contribution and milestone-based release.

    How To Apply

    Procedure:
    1. Mobilise at least the prescribed number of eligible micro/small units in one cluster.
    2. Confirm the cluster is in an eligible area/category.
    3. Form an SPV and prepare a diagnostic study report.
    4. Apply for capacity-building support and/or prepare a DPR for a Common Facility Centre.
    5. Submit through DIC/Directorate of Industries for scrutiny and approval.
    6. Arrange beneficiary contribution, complete approvals, implement the project and submit grant claims/utilisation reports.
