Sick Small Industry Certification and Rehabilitation Assistance
Purpose:
A State mechanism for identifying eligible sick small industrial units and facilitating rehabilitation or concessions after technical, financial and institutional scrutiny.
Objective:
To assess potentially viable sick units, coordinate with banks and departments, support approved revival plans and provide eligible concessions so that viable units may resume sustainable operations.

Beneficiary:
A small industrial unit meeting the notified sickness criteria, supported by bank certification and financial evidence, and presenting a credible rehabilitation or repayment plan. Closed or non-viable units may be treated separately according to applicable rules.
Benefits:
Sick-industry certification and access to eligible rehabilitation facilitation, concessions, rescheduling or relief measures, subject to approval by the competent committee, bank and concerned departments.
How To Apply
Procedure:
1. Obtain the bank certificate and evidence meeting the prescribed sickness criteria.
2. Submit the prescribed application with financial statements, loan/NPA details and revival plan.
3. The case is placed before the District Advisory Sub-Committee.
4. Attend scrutiny/hearing and provide clarifications.
5. If approved, obtain the Sick Industry Certificate.
6. Apply for eligible rehabilitation concessions and comply with the approved repayment/revival plan.
