Special Policy for Women Entrepreneurs 2017
Purpose:
A Maharashtra policy initiative designed to increase women’s participation in entrepreneurship and industrial ownership by extending eligible incentives and facilitation support to qualifying women-owned enterprises.
Objective:
To encourage establishment, growth and formalisation of women-led enterprises, improve access to finance and markets, and create employment through women-controlled industrial ventures.

Beneficiary:
Enterprises meeting the prescribed women ownership, management/control and, wherever applicable, women-employment conditions under the policy and related PSI procedures. The unit must also satisfy sector, location, investment and statutory-registration requirements.
Benefits:
Eligible women-led units may receive enhanced or additional incentives, facilitation and concessions under the policy/PSI framework, subject to category, location, investment and the operative Government Resolution.
How To Apply
Procedure:
1. Confirm eligible women ownership and workforce conditions.
2. Obtain Udyam registration and required project approvals.
3. Prepare ownership, employment, investment, finance and location documents.
4. Apply for eligibility under the applicable PSI/women entrepreneur provisions.
5. Obtain the Eligibility Certificate.
6. Submit incentive claims with supporting expenditure and compliance documents.
Required Documents: Ownership and constitution documents, shareholding/partnership records, identity and domicile records, Udyam/GST/PAN, project report, investment proofs, employment records, bank sanction, statutory approvals and declarations confirming women ownership/control.
